Caller id stopped working

Hi, my caller id has suddenly stopped working and all calls are now showing as 'incoming call' and no details.  This was working fine a couple of weeks ago.  We have NOT been upgraded to Digital yet, and when I contacted BT Chat the operator told me the service was enabled on the line so should be working, but when I call #234# I get the message 'Callers identity will not be displayed' - this contradicts what the online chat person told me.  What do I do?

Hi @Uktim69 

Thanks for coming to the community.

Could you check this is set up by logging into your My BT, then go to to Your Products, Landline, does the Caller ID show? 

If this is not showing in your My BT or is already showing as active, please get back in touch with our broadband tech guides and they can get this looked into for you.

Thanks Leanne, tried that but when I look at My Products and then Landline, and select Privacy with Caller Display it may say’s We’re sorry, we can’t process your order at the moment!  
I’ve tried contacting the support team again but they keep telling me the service is enabled.  I’ve wasted about 4 hours getting nowhere!

I know you have been in touch a few times and I'm very sorry this has not been sorted for you. We have no account access on the community to get the caller ID looked into and you would need to get in touch with our broadband tech guides. If they are unable to resolve this on the call, you can open a complaint with the guide and this would be passed to the executive complaints team.
