My Dad has just switch to Full Fibre and DV. I'm authorised to speak on his behalf relating to his BT account.
We've just realised that DV Voicemail Essentials is active. He would prefer to use his BT8610 Trucall Blocker answerphone that is plugged into the SH2.
We logged into bt.com, and went to the product page - where we saw....
Looking at his bt.com account he was set as "Account Manager". I'm not sure why - has this something to do with myself being able to speak on his behalf? I don't think it does.
We swapped his logon to "Account Holder",
but after logging out/in, we still don't have any access to his DV features.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Paul
Solved! Go to Solution.
After a short wait, it appears to be OK
I've just changed it from 7 to 10 rings.
An "off" option would be useful.
Not everyone wants to deal with voicemails, irrespective of whether they have their own dedicated answerphone built into their analogue handsets or whether they use the newer advanced/essential DV handsets.
