I have FTTP and before change over to digital voice the Base 8500 phone was plugged into the ONT. On change over to Digital Voice the 8500 base was moved to the Smart home hub (SH2). Incoming calls ok. Dial tone ok. However unable to speed dial or chose and dial a number from the directory. After selecting either and operating the handset dial tone is followed by a very rapid stream of MF tones and reverts to dial tone. An OG call can be sucessfully made after obtaining dial tone and entering the digits manually. The other 2 phones associated with the Base are the same. Any body else experienced this ? Broadband is solid as is the rest of the service CLI etc.

have you tried going to hub manager enet 192.168.1.254 into your address bar then select your phone number and then reset base you will have to re-pair your DV phones if you received any free
I have reset the base as suggested. No change. However I have since tried connecting the 8500 base via a DV adapter.
This does not cure the fault but calls will now break dial tone. All calls tried so far are now receiving "number not recognised announcements". Except for the short digit string 1571 which is OK. A DV phone works OK but does not replace 3 dect phones unless I buy a holster ! Everything was working prior to change over ! The only unkown at my end is the previously unused telephone port on the SH" hub. Any thoughts
Sorry but no. My issues are with the 3 BT 8500 Dect phones. when dialling stored number the DV phone send the digits in a controlled manner. The dect phones send the digit stream far more rapidly and fail.
😀 Problem solved. Moved Base Dect to totally location away from any possible radio interference.
