Having been upgraded to full fibre we find that our two phone extensions are no longer working. Will BT provide the digital voice adapters for free or is it necessary to buy them?

yes copper cable is disconnected telephone now goes via fibre the device also your phone to connect via wifi
i got mine for free ask live chat i cant remember link i used they supplied me with an EE one but it works
BT were giving one adaptor for free. I'm not sure if that is still the case but if you call BT 0330.1234.150 they should be able to order you one if it is still free.
Wifi is not a factor - digital landline phones connect via DECT not WIFI
It’s for the conversion to Digital Voice (DV) that BT did , and perhaps still do provide a Digital Voice adapter for , not conversion to FTTP , presumably your conversion to FTTP was arranged to coincide with the PSTN to DV migration and that’s why you are enquiring because if you were already on DV (so your phone connected to the router when you were on ADSL/VDSL FTTC ) then the subsequent conversion to FTTP simply maintains the DV service you already had .

it if your using adapter to connet to router ?
