Is it possible to have digital voice without a Home Hub 2?
I've ordered an upgrade to Digital Voice but I don't use my Home Hub 2 as it kept crashing when I set up port forwarding and gave up on BT fixing the problem as they wouldn't acknowledge there was a problem.
I now use a Netgear Orbi router with Wi-Fi satellites which works flawlessly with the same port forwarding setup.
There was no mention anywhere during the ordering process that a Home Hub 2 would be required for the Digital Voice service to work. It was only a bit later when I looked further that I found that the Home Hub 2 was mentioned.
I've tried to cancel the order but after 3 days apart from an acknowledgement that the cancellation request has been received, I've heard nothing and now the digital voice telephone handset has been dispatched.
