Digital voice

I keep getting text messages asking me if I am ready to switch.  My mobile network doesn't recognise text short code numbers so I can't reply.  Are there any alternative ways to respond?

What is your intention? If it is to move to DV, call customer services 0330 1234 150 if it is to decline, do nothing until pestered by other means.

I'm also text rich, and action poor. SH2-less. I exist on the outer extremities of one of the ring-fenced exceptions categories. Why wait for the 2025 deadline, go for the migration, as requested, now. It's out there somewhere: if only.

I occasionally have a look in my BT account; to see if any DV Migration order has been raised. Nothing.
Still, a new CEO next Thursday.

I received an email today. DV-Day next week.
Order placed in My Account.

So, let's see, if the process works ?

When my migration to DV happened it really wasn't much of a "journey".
Admittedly it didn't take place on the day BT claimed it would but, when I no longer got a dial tone on my telephone plugged into the master socket, I just unplugged it and plugged it into the SH2 which had arrived in the post a few days previously and which was easy to set up in place of my existing modem/router.
It was all pretty simple!

@chrisjp Likewise. It was a bit of a non event for me too so I don't really understand why some people on here are shuddering in absolute panic and popping valium every 10 minutes!

People don't like change, it's as simple as that. 

No big mystery, and nothing to get one over on others for because we understand it better or have had a painless switchover.

Let's help them and then move on.
