Has Call Minder changed?
Recently changed to Digital Voice and have a couple of the BT Home Phones. I have never bothered with Call Minder previous but decided to disconnect my old answer machine.
I printed out the instructions from a BT site - Get the message wherever you are, Call Minder User Guide. The only date is the BT copyright of 2012.
Some of the operations seem to have changed, obviously you can follow the voice instructions but nice to have a correct user guide.
Where do you download the current User Guide?

Re: Has Call Minder changed?
Looking again for the User Guide and I see the website distinguishes between 'Call Minder' and '1571', I thought it was two names for the same service?

Re: Has Call Minder changed?
Looking at the instructions online
1. From the home phone number,
dial 1571.
2. To link your mobile press 2,
then press 6.
But pressing '2' gets the message that no messages in the inbox and then '6' gets not a valid number.

Re: Has Call Minder changed?
It has changed for Digital Voice. If you dial 1571, after it says you have no new messages, select option 3 for settings and features, then the mobile linking service on option 4. It will ask you to setup a PIN first if you don't already have one.

Re: Has Call Minder changed?
1571 is Voicemail.
1572 is Call Protect where you can add the last call to your Personal Block List. You can also switch DND on or off and change your Personal Settings.

Re: Has Call Minder changed?
So they have two services providing virtually the same things, with different names and a different command structure?
Crazy!

Re: Has Call Minder changed?
Call Minder and BT Answer are legacy product names from PSTN. They are both different voicemail products.
On Digital Voice there is a standard and a premium offering.
Call Protect is the Nusiance Call Management stuff
