Is 08000282321 a genuine number from which you might get a landline text voice message? There are conflicting views on the internet.

@Jacqueline3 If you Google that number it’s almost universally claimed that it is a number associated with BT’s text to voice service. If it were me getting calls like that (I don’t have an awful landline anymore anyway), I’d just block it.

Thanks Kimberlin. Having a landline and a mobile does lead to some confusion about which number someone will ring.
