Not sure if I’m posting in the correct place, but really hope someone can help me.
My dad is 84 and was switched over to Digital Voice last week. Since then, any calls coming through on his BT Advanced Z phone handset now show only as ‘incoming call’. All his contacts don’t show, despite them doing so before the switchover.
Being elderly, he is very anxious as he cannot be sure who is actually trying to call him. He has had scam calls before and is very apprehensive about all of this.
How can I get his contacts to show up when a call is coming through? He simply will not answer his phone until he sees who is trying to call him! Help!

been a few posts like yours and if you phone CS 03301234150 they can check as it may have been turned off in switch to DV and CS can turnback on
Hi again imjolly,
Not long off the phone to CS who confirmed that my dad’s caller id had been removed. Not sure why, they said it just happens sometimes….But this has now been reinstated and my dad should have it up and running again after midnight tonight. I will check again in the morning.

Hi Leanne,
I did a check on my dad’s phone this morning (phoned it using my mobile). My details were showing on the caller display, so the problem has been fixed. He feels a lot better now that he can see who is phoning him as there are so many scam calls these days.
