Permanent Engaged Tone

I've just left BT and it's been brought to my attention that anyone ringing my old DV landline number hears engaged tone, should it not be N.U. tone that they hear?

Re: Permanent Engaged Tone

Morning @Les-Gibson

Thanks for coming back to the community.

How long ago did you cancel the BT broadband contract?

Have you moved to another broadband provider?

Speak soon 🙂

Leanne.

Re: Permanent Engaged Tone

Hi @Leanne_T

Yes I have moved to another provider but I didn't request a landline.

My last day of service with BT was 02/12

Re: Permanent Engaged Tone

Thanks very much @Les-Gibson

Did you provide 30 days notice on 02/12 or was this the date of cancellation?

If this was the cancellation date, please give our technical support team a call and they will get this looked into for you.

Leanne.
