I'm a Vonage VOIP subscriber but just moved house and decided to get a BT landline instead.
I have an active BT Retail number now. I'd like to port my Vonage number to my BT line.
Is that possible if the number I have didn't originate with BT?
If so, how do I do it?
Hi @mas1, welcome to the forum and thanks for your post.
It's not a common question but I've found this: Solved: Porting Landline number from Vonage (VOIP) - BT Community
This may be of help for you if you've a BT landline over copper. If you have Digital Voice you would be best to call and speak with us.
Cheers
John
Thanks John. The difference for me is my number was originally allocated to me by Vonage, so it's not part of the BT-owned number range.
In that case, would it still be possible to port that number to BT?
Hi @mas1, if the service with Vonage has stopped then it would be a No.
If the number is still active with Vonage it may be possible to get a number port order placed. There is never a 100% guarantee with number ports.
Cheers
John
Hi @mas1, yes give us a call and ask for a number port and do come back and let us know how you get on.
Cheers
John
