As I said I moved your long detailed post to your own thread so replies to your problem do not get mixed up with replies to the poster of the original thread who is currently waiting on openreach who hopefully will solve the problem. Once contacted by ELC on Monday then you can update your thread again avoiding confusing with previous poster of original thread.
My sole intention was to ensure your post received the attention to speed up a solution
I don't think there's any need for you to post at all. Wait until you're on the receiving end of the threatening, bullying emails and letters and either trying to look after an elderly relative or are that elderly person. I was always brought up that if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all. Useful advice I'd say as you are not in the situation and have zero idea of it.

you have no idea of my circumstances or whether I do or have looked after an elderly relative or whether I am that elderly person. The one thing I am certain about is that if your father is 89 I am certainly older than you.
I would add that I was one of the posters who told you to contact consumer resolutions and get help from ELC which seems to have helped as you now have openreach coming to try and help your father
If you have such vast experience of being bullied, frightened and intimidated by BT then why defend them and accuse the poster of not giving the full story?
I didn't take your advice because I knew from past experience, as explained yesterday, it would be fruitless.
BT executive office contacted me and have apologised for the bullying, frightening and intimidating behaviour they display. Their staff at the executive office are embarrassed by their employers behaviour.
BTs behaviour is scandalous and there is no defending it, and yet you did and accused the poster of lying.
Probably best you stay off these forums in future if you can't say anything helpful, useful or nice.

Amazing how quick someone who is a 'victim', suddenly turns into the aggressor giving out demands.
I have never accused the poster of lying unless you can show me the post where it happened. my post consisted of
'I moved your post to start your own thread so any replies will be about your problem and not getting confused with originator the the previous thread
Have you contacted the makers of your Telecare alarm letting the know you are getting changed to digital voice so they can ensure system updated'
and
'Hopefully ELC will contact you on Monday and sort out your problem and get you connected'
and
'As I said I moved your long detailed post to your own thread so replies to your problem do not get mixed up with replies to the poster of the original thread who is currently waiting on openreach who hopefully will solve the problem. can you highlight where I accused @45SM of lying
Hi,
Just a reminder that this is a Community forum for members to share their experience and also help others who reach out for assistance and advice.
Not everyone's experience or perception of a situation will be the same, and so naturally user discussions will take place, which we encourage and allow.
However, please be mindful of any future replies, and avoid responding if you feel you're unhappy with another users response. If needed you can report any replies for staff to pick up on and moderate if required. You'll find the Report option available to the side of every post and reply.
