Redirect calls after landline is disconnected

Go to solution

Moving to FTTP, I will lose my copper landline. Is there a way to redirect my calls or use a voicemail to tell callers of my mobile number to call?

Not sure if loosing the copper line means the old number will be "dead".

Unless you've opted for Broadband only - no landline then you will retain your number on Digital Voice

I will have FTTP but the isp I want to move to  does not provide digital phone yet (will in 2023). Hence I am looking to redirect

You might be able to port your existing landline number over to your new provider and remain on copper until they have digital capability.

Not an option. My landline is with Virgin and they do not use the copper line. I think they use their own optic line.

@wizzard

I would think it unlikely you are going to be able to retain your number, unless you keep your Virgin home phone, on their own network. They do not use the Openreach copper network.
