Using a digital voice adaptor to connect my answerphone

Before I  switched to full fibre and digital voice my answerphone was connected to an extension in the hall remote from the master socket.  It is currently plugged into the home hub on the first floor. If I used an EE digital voice adaptor,  can I reposition my answerphone in the hall?

Yes, the adapter is simply a portable phone socket.
