Hi, Is anyone else having a problem with voicemail notifications when there are no new voicemails?
It happens all the time. The only way I can clear them is by leaving myself a message and then deleting it but a few days later it happens again. I call voicemail to be told I have no messages. Then I get a notification of a new message again and the cycle continues. This has been happening for months and it is starting to drive me nuts!
Why is this happening and how do I stop it please? It never used to be a problem until the new text version of voicemail became available. I would really appreciate advice on how to stop it happening. Thank you.

What do you mean by the new text version of voicemail?
As well as a voicemail it is available in text too. Supposedly an enhanced feature. In other words it transcribes the voice message into text.
Are you referring to mobile? Or a digital voice line? Transcription isn't available on digital voice or mobile. However is an iPhone feature?
OK so maybe the text has nothing to do with it but the constant notifications saying I have a voice mail when I don’t is what I want to solve as it is exceedingly irritating. Sorry about the underlining, can’t remove it.
Hi @elliem,
Welcome to the Community!
I'm sorry to hear you're being bothered by these notifications, and I can understand how frustration this must be. I'd recommend reaching out to our team, who can take a look into what is happening in the background, and work to get this sorted for you.

Is it possible that it is scam calls that you are receiving and when the voice mail kicks in the automated scam call just drops but it has already activated the voicemail so it appears that there is no call.
As the OP says 'The only way I can clear them is by leaving myself a message and then deleting it'
That's the only fix. That this fault has been known about for months now and they've not rolled out a fix doesn't say much about BT that's good.
