after the switch to DV, does this mean cheaper bills

after the switch to DV, does this mean cheaper bills.

Im thinking that, because the L.Line doesnt exist anymore, ( apart from delivering BB from the FTTC , cab - because its DV over the BB, will I stop being charged a fee for L.Line ?

Re: after the switch to DV, does this mean cheaper bills

The ‘landline’ will still exist if you are on DV via ADSL or FTTC , and if on FTTP you still have a ‘line’ a full fibre one ….you are receiving the same ‘service’ , telephony , just because the method of delivery is changed is no reason to expect a reduction in price , DV and PSTN are the same price .

If you don’t want telephony at all from BT ( so no phone number associated with your BT broadband ) then you can save £3-£5 as that’s the difference between standalone broadband and the same broadband but with a PAYG telephone service.
