Can anyone recommend a wireless hands free headset for the BT digital voice phone, simple to use and suitable for the elderly.
My elderly father was supplied with the new digital voice phones around two years ago. He would like to have both hands free whilst talking on the phone.
It only needs to connect with the BT phone. Compatibility with other devices, Teams, etc, is not required.
Thank you
does the digital voice phone not have a speaker facility where you can select and therefore handsfree much like facility on mobile phone
Thanks for your response.
I'm not familiar with my dad's handsets/base unit since I don't have digital voice myself. I think there probably is a speaker facility but my dad is a bit hard of hearing so I don't think this would be loud enough for him. Also he likes to walk about or go in the kitchen while he's talking on the phone, so he would either still have to carry the phone or stay close to the base unit. I will ask him when i speak to him tonight.
I would still like to find out if there is a simple wireless handsfree headset I can get for him though as I think this would be the best solution.
the phones connect to the hub base using DECT not wifi. headsets are normally bluetooth not wifi
Thanks for your response.
I'm sorry I'm not very technical.

Does this response mean that the answer to my query is that there are no wireless hands free headsets at all compatible with BT's Digital Voice phone?
As the DV handsets are not Bluetooth enabled, I very much doubt you will find anything.
That's why I always use my mobile linked to my hearing aids by Bluetooth for calls.
