Hi, probably worrying about nothing but any help/advice VERY greatly received.
My broadband has gone down and engineer is coming this Friday.
Problem is, I live in a caravan and when we had BT Broadband installed 13 years ago we had some problems with engineer who said he couldn't go under caravan etc.
We eventually got it done but Im very nervous as to whether we will have problems again if problem is with connection point or cabling.
Any comments greatly appreciated
Solved! Go to Solution.
it will be up to openreach person that comes to fix your problem what they will or won't do being a caravan
That's what I am worried about, lol.
Are there any other options for wi fi if they won't repair my broadband?
Sorry if questions appear stupid, but Im clueless about all this.
better waiting until engineer been before trying to find a solution to something that may never happen
Hi. Thanks for the reply. I seem to recall (but as I say it is more than 13 years ago) that the connection point was just under the caravan so I am assuming that if cabling is the problem there might be an issue about an engineer going under the caravan.
Sorry if explanation is poor but I'm old and a bit dense with these things, I find it all very confusing. Just worried that I won't have access to wifi because it has become a big part in my recreational life at home.
Thanks again.
Thanks for the replies so far.
Just one last question, can anyone advise of any wi-fi alternatives should BT not repair my broadband. Many thanks once again.
i Am pretty sure openreach will get it fixed for you. As for an alternative I can only think of Starlink but it is expensive.
