Re: network desktop app on windows 11used to connect to my hub manger

Terrible reply.

This is both a Microsoft Windows & Apple Client issue.

BT should upgrade the certificate on the Hubs.  BT are quite unproffesional with regard keeping Hubs updated.

The idea of an uptodate certificate is to ensure that we ( customers) have confidence that the supplier is managing security.

@CommunityFez  This is NOT a Windows issue.  I run four Windows 11 Pro machines with the latest updates.  I'm also still using a Smart hub 2 as a wireless access point.  Never had the issue you are complaining about.

Edit: Reading your post again, are you complaining about the wireless issue or the certificate issue?

And as far as the certificate issue goes…if anything, it’s the poor design of modern browsers that is the problem.  The warnings they issue are way over the top.  Internal traffic, used with a self-signed certificate, has been used in the industry for many years.  Only externally routed traffic needs a certificate from a CA.  You would have thought browsers would be able to distinguish between the two by now!
