BT hub2 beeps twice every hour, we were put on Digital voice part fibre which is when the beeping started, we have had a new hub & battery backup sent to us, have used different plugs & still it beeps, spoke to BT many many times and nobody seems to know wht or what the solution is, it is really annoying the beeping is quite intrusive, any answers would be appreciated
I don’t think the Smart Hub can beep? At least, I don’t think mine ever has. (I’m sure someone will correct me on that).
Are you sure it’s not the battery backup squawking about the batteries being flat? Is it plugged in properly?

Digital Voice comes with the 1571 answer service. As far as I know, the message waiting warning is given by a different dial tone, not the phone beeping, but it could depend on the model of phone I suppose.
Might be worth dialling 1571 and seeing if any messages are waiting.

When you say “phones”, were they supplied for the change to Digital Voice (DV)?
There are a lot of posts on here about the batteries supplied with the phones being defective and not holding their charge. Might be worth a search for some of those posts, see if they ring any bells. (No pun intended).
I’ve not heard that about the battery backup units, but it is also a possibility.
