Ok thank you. Do you have any idea what it might be. ?

Yeah I have factory reset it a few times, still the same issue.
Sorry to be clear. ONT to Google Nest Router provides internet connectivity?
BUT the Nest wifi point will not connect to the Nest Wifi network?
Yes, the ONT to the Google Nest router provides internet connectivity.
Correct, the Nest wifi point will not connect to the Nest Wifi network.
Google has said it could be the ONT and I need a modem. Not sure what the difference is.
As previously stated, Google are clueless. The ONT is a modem and cannot be changed.
Sorry, I have no idea what the problem is, but Google are just giving you a load of nonsense.

Given the Nest Router is happily connected to the BT network via the BT ONT, the problem has to be from the Nest Router onwards. Does the Nest wifi point have a QR code you have to scan to join Nest Wifi?
There seems to be a problem with the IOS (Apple) app. Are you using the IOS app?
Yes it has a QR code but that wasn't working to well so I used the code instead.
No I am using a Google pixel 6 with Android 12
Hi - had exactly same message after a factory reset (which itself was a mistake for me as broadband was down in village and I should've just left it alone to come back). Anyway, in case it's useful to you, I fixed my issue by also resetting each of my two wifi points ( pressing button underneath for 10 plus seconds till it went into reset). Then you have a fresh WiFi point that was much happier to pair with my factory reset router. So, if you've factory reset your router, also reset the nest wifi points.
Thanks. Jason but I've reset the point and the router several times and the problem still persist
