Hi,
I have connected my old Smart Hub to the new Smart Hub 2 (Fibre) using the instructions provided online. The Smart Hub extender is working fine. Can connect via Wifi and Ethernet. However, the old Smart Hub acting as the extender is flashing purple and not solid blue like before. Is this normal or have I missed something in the settings?
When I go into the hub settings it states broadband discounted. Is this correct?

That would be normal, as its no longer directly connected to the Internet.
Thanks for the reply. I have just noticed that when i plug the ethernet cable into the extender hub and laptop. It does not connect to the internet. Why would this be? Wifi works perfectly fine.

It would depend on how you linked the two together. Normally you would connect LAN to LAN.
Connected using ethernet cable port 1 on both hubs.
Did you disable the DHCP server on the second hub?
Disabled the Authoritative DHCP. DHCP Server was already disabled. When i put ethernet cable in to laptop it searches and connects to the main hub. As soon as I open a webpage 2 seconds and it disconnects. Keep repeating like this.
