I have BT halo with 3 discs to overcome internal house transmissions due to high metal content in the walls (1930s slag bricks). I need to extend WiFi coverage to the tac room in the stables. I get some coverage outside the house but not as far as I need. I don't believe I can add another extender, is it possible to run an ethernet cable from the BT hub and put a stand alone router on the end to give me the coverage I need? This will obviously not be a BT device, will it interfere with the WiFi from the BT system? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can do that but you don't need another router a simple wireless access point (wap) will suffice. To avoid any possibility of interference, set the device to a different channel to the main system.
All the usual sources.
Try Google
Yes, but probably overkill for your requirements.

Or the EAP 235
Thank you for your help, I’ll give it a go and see what happens
