Good router for fibre broadband?

I haveva deco m6 mesh wifi system in my house and since switching to bt its been unable to work which means many areas of my house do not have wifi. Ive since discovered that the router install only works sith the bt smart hub and the deco m6 system and the smart hub cannot work together.

Ive tried to look for a replacement router but cant find one anywhere that i know will work. Has anyone had the same problem and what router did you use to fix it?

Re: Good router for fibre broadband?

No idea where you get the idea that the deco M6 won't work with the smart hub, it will.  You don't need a different router if you don't want to use the BT hub, you just need a modem.

If you have FTTC fibre1 or fibre2, then the Openreach Huawei HG 612 modem from eBay would be suitable.

You need to configure the Deco in Wireless Access Point mode.

That's what I have. No BT Hub just a Huawei modem and a M5 mesh. Superb.
