Incorrect password when connecting to BT hub

Recently I’ve been getting the message that the wifi password is incorrect when attempting to connect to my BT hub on devices (iPhones and iPad).

The password is the correct password, and will eventually work but very intermittently. Even when one device is connected and that password is automatically shared, the error that the password is incorrect is shown. It feels like the hub will only let a certain amount of devices to connect at one time, but I’m not sure it that’s true.

I’ve reset the hub to factory settings and reset the network settings on the iPad and iPhone, but neither has worked.

This issue has happened for about a month and I’m struggling to find a way to resolve the issue.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Incorrect password when connecting to BT hub

When you factory reset the hub did you hold the recess button in for about 30 seconds, if not it may not have carried out the factory reset.

Clear/delete any previous connections to your iPhone etc then connect one device and make sure it is working before trying to connect the next device. Do this manually rather than using the "automatic" connection.

If that does not work report a fault to BT and request a replacement hub.
