Ping spikes when gaming and watching streaming services (Netflix/Amazon)

Hi,

I've been getting lag when gaming and someone else is watching netflix for some time, but since getting my new Smart Hub 2 with 350+ download speed and 75 upload speed I believe now it's not an issue with my internet being unable to handle both simultaneously.

For reference there is no issue when gaming unless there is video streaming and it is immediately noticeable when someone begins to watch netflix that the lag then begins. Gaming on PS4 and happens for all games.

Could someone please assist me?

What you probably need is a better router with QoS control 

I had the same issue and that fixed it. Hope that helps 🙂
