I use the BT smart home as an access point, is there a way to disable this flashing purple light? Because now its always blinking.

Put a piece of black insulation tape over it.
Really there isn't a way or option to disable it?
No

Im having deja vu….
Do you reckon you could achieve a solid orange or red light by taking a patch cable and hooking up the assigned WAN port to one of the LAN ports?
Could be more desirable.
I think it is possible to find a creative way to keep the light solid in such a situation. Can you explain more about your idea? There is no WAN port in BT Hub6.
The idea (which might not work anyway), is only applicable to the Smart Hub2 where LAN port 4 can be configured as a WAN port for FTTP.
Is there any guidance for this?
Any guidance for what?
