Reconnecting discs

Just set up my new Home Hub 2 without issue but my three BTW discs will not connect to it. Followed all of the instructions but they just flash blue for a few seconds and then power down. Any suggestions?

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

What colour discs are they, as only the black BT Complete WIFI Discs will connect to the smart hub 2 using wireless.

The white BT Whole Home discs cannot connect directly to the SH2, one needs to be connected to an Ethernet port on the SH2, all of the time.

Mine are white - but even when one of them is plugged directly into an ethernet port on the SH2 it still just flashes blue for a few minutes and then powers-down.

I have to say that I'm a bit annoyed if my discs aren't compatible with the SH2 - as that's not what BT have been saying in all of the literature that they've sent in advance.
