Removing an old telephone line extension

4B3D84A6-B546-4468-9388-A01084640EC9.jpeg

 Hello,

I’m looking to remove an old telephone line extension in my house, can I just cut the three lines highlighted in blue in this picture without impacting our other lines?

The box highlighted in orange is the end of the old extension line that we’ve removed from the wall already.

Thanks

Re: Removing an old telephone line extension

Anything up to the master socket is property of openreach and anything after master is property of homeowner. So 3 tensions are up to you

Thanks, but can I just cut the 3 extension wires without impacting any other connections in the house?

Re: Removing an old telephone line extension

I wouldn't just cut them, disconnect them from the master socket first.

Thanks, is the master socket the box on the right hand side of the photo?
