Hi Folks,
Wee bit of close lightning last night and my Draytex Vigor2860 got fried - line side seems fine but the ethernet ports are dead.
As a temporay fix I've installed my reserve TP-Link TD-W9970
Looking for recommendations for a permanent solution.
I need 6 ethernet ports.
I don't need wi-fi on the router as I have BTWholehome.
BB is copper - real wet string stuff - no fibre upgrade expected for at least four years.
I'm a true amateur that fumbles his way around network things and once it's working I like to let it run smoothly.
Any lovely gurus with suggestions please.
