Can anyone tell me why my bt hub 2 shows that I have two WiFi connections with my sky q box. If I switch off my sky q box the connections go. When I switch the box back on it shows as two connections to my hub

Do you have multiroom?

If so one will be the main box, the second will be the mini.

It could be the dual bands, the Smart Hub 2 supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz, on the SH2 you can't split them like you could with the Smart Hub 1.

To test this, login to your hub manager, the user and password are on the back of the hub, in a browser type the address as 192.168.1.254 or use https://bthomehub.home/
Then disable the 5GHz band, you can reverse this to re-enable.
