Re: Unable to connect to websites via Ethernet on Smart Hub 2

Have you checked the settings om her laptop to see if IP4 is also disabled on the Ethernet controller?

Re: Unable to connect to websites via Ethernet on Smart Hub 2

IP4 is not disabled on her laptop and diagnostics did not find any problems. I am able to connect to web sites with Ethernet cable in today.  Very odd as it was definitely playing up yesterday.

I'd missed your other thread. Maybe the ethernet connections had got muddled when you were experimenting with the 4G hybrid?

Re: Unable to connect to websites via Ethernet on Smart Hub 2

This could have been the case. Due to a lack of ports in the Smart Hub I installed a 5-Port Gigabit Switch, as recommended in this community. After all the problems encountered, I took that out and went back to basics.  I broke one of my golden rules in changing too many things at once. Perhaps I paid the price for that over the last few days. I will leave things well alone now until after the Full Fibre installation.

Thanks to everyone for their help here.
