I was ORIGINALLY told by BT that part of my new BT digital broadband would be done on 15th September,BUT I would be set up completely on the 16th for it all. Where on earth can you contact BT regarding should I stay in for tomorrow? All I am getting is the appointment for the 16th September by txt and nothing else about .
NOWHERE can you get hold of BT to verify when they are coming. Anybody had this problem? Thanks.

Hi, @Iamgrandna1 that sounds like a two-stage full fibre install. The first engineer will complete some work on the network in order to run a fibre cable to your home. They don't normally need you to be at home and if they need access to the property they will get in touch with you directly to arrange this.
The second part of the installation requires an appointment as the engineer will need access to your home to install the fibre ONT equipment and connect you to the external fibre cable.
Thanks
Neil
@Iamgrandna1 Yes you only need to be there for the appointment time and if anything changes the engineer will call you.
Thanks
