BT TV app extra... please help me!

How can I add the BT TV app extra to increase the number of devices?  I'm just going round in circles and not able to order it or add it.  Can someone please help me?  Thank you in advance.

Hi @stef_toonarmy, welcome to the forum and thanks for posting.

We've moved to providing most of the extra channels on Now packages. If you have an old BT TV package the app extra may suit you. If you have a Now package the channels provided by it are accessed via the Now app.

Thanks for your reply. I have the ultimate Sports package with BT and Now Sports but the part I'm struggling with is BT Sport.  I have it on my TV but I want to access it via the app on an Xbox and a mobile device at the same time. I can only have 2 devices on mine right now.  Is that fixed by having app extra?

The BT Sport app limits you to 2 concurrent streams, and there's no way to increase that.
If you also have access to BT Sport via a BT TV subscription then you could also watch up to 2 concurrent streams in the BT TV app, giving you a total of 4.

At one time you could upgrade BTTV app to be on 4 devices - I assume this is still the case?

Yes, BT TV App Extra allows 4 registered devices, but still only 2 simultaneous streams.
