I am trying to cancel my monthly subscription but cannot see how to do it. I notice I am one of many who has had this problem, maybe you need to look at improving this service. Please cancel for me or advise how I can do so.

I think if you go to "My BT" (in between "help" & "email" from the top toolbar), you will see a button on that page called "Cancel Subscription" as i can see it. Im assuming that should work once you start that process, but if not then the BT support staff here can help.
No there is nothing there that says cancel.
