Hi 

 

I'm.struggling to log into my account to watch live on bt sport app??

 

I get error ID220 after about a minute of a loading screen?? 

 

Tried all basic solutions, uninstall reinstall, clear cache 

 

Any help would be appreciated thanks

When did this happen?

I'm not seeing any logs in the last few days for a PS5 displaying ID220.

That error code means that we got an unexpected response from our authentication service, so it would be good to find the logs to see what that response was.

If you could try again and let me know the exact time, I'll see if I can find them.

Hi

 

Sorry for delay.

 

I've tried it twice this morning between 1140 and 1145 and get the same error.

 

I've tried it with os5 wireless and wired. Uninstall app reinstalled 

 

And still same error

Unfortunately you tried at a very busy time, so I can't narrow down your specific attempts.
Could you please select the cog in the top right, then Device Checker. At the bottom of the screen it'll show your deviceId - if you could send me that (or a photo of it if that's easier), I should be able to find you. You could send as a DM or email me at tv.apps@bt.com if you'd prefer.

ID220 means any unexpected response from our authentication service - or in this case, no response at all (request timed out).
We don't know why the PS5 was unable to communicate with our servers, but it started working by itself (possibly a reboot of router, or change of IP address).

The first suggestion to anyone seeing this in future will be to reboot their router and device, just to ensure the best possible chance of connection. If that doesn't fix it, try visiting https://auth.bt.com/device in a web browser on the same internet connection to see if that offers any messages about why it's unable to be reached.
