The BT Sport app is closing on 12th October

This post is about the BT Sport *app* closing, which is being replaced by the discovery+ app.
The TNT Sports channels are remaining in the same place as before.

I'm having real issues I've had BT Sports on Sky for ages paid through BT whom I'm a customer with and it also included the BT sports app. The problem is now since it automatically changed to TNT under Discovery when I went on to My BT and then logged into the Discovery Plus app it now says I've got to pay for it there as well on top of already paying BT.

I'm having a lot of problems. 

I have BT/TNT sports through a bt box, but also have Sky.

I've activated discovery plus through BT but my account is through Sky.

I cannot access TNT sports through the discovery plus app 

I've been going round in circles, seems impossible to delete my existing account and discovery plus say I have to get sports through sky! 

I have no intention of paying twice 

Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

For all subscription and activation issues, please feel free to email me at tv.apps@bt.com with your BT ID and BT account number. So far, there's only been one account I couldn't fix. Having an existing account with Sky isn't an issue - the BT subscription can be added to it.

I have emailed you this morning as I have the same issue of no activation option when I follow the link, how long will it take to resolve

I work right up until I go to bed, and start picking up emails as soon as I sign on in the morning. I'm currently about 20 emails behind ... I should get back to you in the next couple of hours.

Same issues and problems with my account, set up a pay monthly but cannot access, tried to cancel but no apparent way of cancelling on My BT account
