Bt box

Hello I was given a bt box pro by a family member. Can I still add BT services to it even if I didn’t get the box directly sent from BT via a new subscription?

I don’t think BT would add any of their services to that box for you. You’d need to take out a new 24 month subscription and BT would loan you a new box for that. You don’t say how the family member came about the BT pro tv box, although I’m aware of their availability from one or two sources.

Hi, @FC12 thanks for posting as @Brucemeister5 has mentioned the Pro box is loaned as part of a subscription. If it was provided by BT to your family member and they don't return it when asked they will be charged £115.

they took out a new subscription but  still using a old box which they want to keep because of their recordings.

Do they still send the new box back then or only  send it back if they cancel BTTV?
