Hello, im a newly signed up customer and have recieved my confirmation of NOW TV ready to use - my email address is the same as an old NOWTV account which is no longer active. I set my pw via the email link - could seem to log in on my phone (although couldnt see a full menu of programmes to watch) but the membership part did seem to know I was with BT package, however, when trying to log on my existing now TV stick on tv - its saying no active membership ?? Even if I log out and log back in with newest pw - no joy - not a great start - dubious new customer - been with Sky for 30 years and hate change !! 😌😌😌 any advice much appreciated xx

I suspect you may have already read through the following link, but just in case you haven't:
If you can't resolve the issue through your MyBT account or your NOW TV stick, you will in all likelihood, have to contact the BT Support Team for assistance.
Cant even register for BT online account as saying technical issue - all I can say is thank goodness im still in cooling off period......
Ouch! Never a good idea to use the same email address that you've used for a previous account. I suspect that is the problem as Now are still linking to your old account.
Well how was i supposed to know that when setting up with BT and they ask for my email address??

It's a learning curve. Something to bear in mind for the future though.
They should have associated the agreed email to your Now account. no need to use a different one. Note that your Now subscription will be that offered by/ordered from BT/EE.
There-are several issues reported due to typos in the address and the migration failing.
