Re: SHORT RECORDINGS. “STILL"

Go to solution

This is my view.

If as has been indicated that this is not a BT problem, if it wasn't, then every other provider of TV recording boxes would also have the same recording problem of short recordings, which they don't! If they did the Internet would be awash with complaints. Only BT has the problem and in the name of good customer service, they should sort it out forthwith.

Re: SHORT RECORDINGS. “STILL"

Hi Budhabaker.

As you may be aware, I’ve been posting this problem for “years” and as far as I’m aware, NOBODY from BT even looks at this site...

I’ve tried everything I’ve been made aware of, from changing the hardware downward, and it still occurs on a regular basis,  VERY annoying.

If BT/EE cared about this community site then something would have been done, EVEN to acknowledge, and perhaps admit defeat….

Hi Barry T33,
Yes, I've seen some of your entries regarding this problem. Perhaps another approach would be to write to the editors of the Daily Mail, Express etc. trying to get them to write articles regarding the lacklustre support provided (or not really provided) by BT. That way getting it into the mainline press could bring negative pressure to bear on BT for them to take the problem seriously.
I myself have experienced this problem. Most programmes record full length except the programme series from Australia about searching for Gold. Just these programmes, on my BT recorder, only record the first 10 minutes of each programme. Other programmes record early and end early.
Are you aware that these boxes are actually rebadged HUMAX recorders, perhaps contacting them could lead to a resolution?
