TNT SPORTS Terrible Picture Quality | May 2024

New software for my Samsung S90C released this morning (1420.09). No changes to the Discovery+ app so will see what happens on Saturday.

Same issues for this tonight, and strangely the UHD airplay stream is just giving a green pixelated screen which is so annoying! Can only watch by using airplay to stream TNT sports rather than Ultimate on the TV. Also my Tv is still running firmware 1402.

Looks like this is much more common than Discovery+ and TNT Sports are admitting!

The issues are all over Trustpilot.

Sadly the Samsung update made no difference.

Once again the MotoGP coverage this afternoon was poor and virtually unwatchable, but the evening coverage of the Speedway GP was faultless.

Both on Discovery plus, but the speedway was Eurosport whilst the MotoGP was TNT Sport

It’s definitely a TNT Sports issue, watching the tennis on Eurosport is fine. What are they playing at.

Same issues watching the Olympics football, they’ve not fixed it

First UHD game of the season & exactly the same. Works fine for 40 mins, then starts buffering, then slowly drops the quality to completely unwatchable. The ad breaks are completely fine, so something odd with the live stream.

The Samsung has had another update to 1430.3 & the Discovery+ app is also updated, so no idea what's going on. Will try the app on the Pro Box again for Saturday's game.

Yup they’ve not fixed it, I’m just waiting for my minimum contract period to end and will be cancelling the subscription in a few months. The reviews on trustpilot are awful and almost all of them relate to buffering so the service obviously is broken. No idea how they’re getting away with it.
