Unable to record TNT channel

Tried to record the Liverpool match last night but just keep getting a message to say "unable to record at this time please try again later". Tried several times but would not record and i am still getting the message this morning on TNT channels. 

I can record on all other channels. This is not the first time it has failed to record a Liverpool match. What is going on?

Thanks @Kimberlin but i had already looked at that page and it doesn't cover not being able to record, just watching via SKY and missing bits. It will not even let me record.

Hi @janets1 

What time were you attempting to set the  Liverpool recording and on what TNT Sport channel ?

Specifically were you  making the attempt before or after 7pm (which I ithink was the scvheduled start time in the EPG) ?

The reason I ask is there can be issues recording the current programme if the broadcaster has not sent the correct playout data).

@zulu17 Tried to record from kick off time 8pm. I have turned box off and rebooted but it still will not record TNT channels. It is ok on the sky channels and all terrestrial channels.

Can you advise if watching a live anTNT Sports channel (that you are not able to record)  when watching the channel live and you press the i(nfo) button on your remote do you see the correct information for the program you are watchin ?

It seems to be OK again, apart from box is so slow and keep having to reboot it.

Why are you having to reboot the box ?

Data or play out issues could have been the cause of your recording issue and they come and go depending on upon the quality of the data  that your box receives from the EPG provider and broadcaster.
However you shouldn’t have to regularly reboot.

@zulu17  Sorry for delay in replying. The box keeps freezing and will not respond to the controls. Thought it was a battery issue but even after replacing them the box regularly freezers which means having to turn it all of and then turning it back on and wait for it all to load up again.

Hi @janets1  thanks for explaining.

That is not normal. Can I ask which TV box is it  and how long you have had it ?

If your remote has a HELP button. , press that and when the HELP screen loads press the I (info) button and   The  About your Youview  display  will  have the box model listed on its first line.
