It is so thank you for doing what no BT operative seemed to be able to achieve... but I am so confused about how anyone was able to rectify it with no account details!?!?! If you could message me to enlighten me I would really appreciate it because it feels a bit dystopian 😵💫

Logging into the forum with your BT ID and/or posting from your home broadband connection allows a restricted group of BT/EE employees to identify your account. This speeds up the fault diagnosis and fix process significantly.
I'm glad it's now sorted for you, and sorry that it took so long - unfortunately everything looked correct on the high level system that our call centre agents can see. It's only TV account specialists (of which I used to be one) that know the potential lower level causes of your issue, enabling a faster fix.
