I know because the engineer who visited our house 2-3 weeks ago said so.
The work will be carried out next week.
So the Openreach engineer decided it was a cable fault yet you know better. Do you really think they will get a dig team in for no reason?

This problem has been going on for more than a year now. Intermittent problems are difficult to troubleshoot.
I thought it would be worth doing what I can to find the fault. Maybe it is some Rein issue caused by something I have in my house or my neighbour.
Abd it is impossible to know without testing after each change.
But sounds like I should not. BT / Open reach have done so good job so far..?
