Thanks David. BT have performed checks and they’ve diagnosed a fault. However, their earliest appointment is this Thursday. So, will be at least 4 days without broadband. Pretty useless work wise 😡

Fault fixed.
Engineer found a broken copper cable within the feed into my house.
Utilised slack on the cable and re terminated the wiring.
Also replaced my internal socket with the new ‘Master Socket 5C’

Engineer reckons it was just ‘old age’ of the cabling that caused the wear and tear.
