Capture456.JPGHi all, heres an update. My router has not disconnected however I have noticed the margin has dropped to 5.6 and the max speed is now less than the speed I am connected at. Is this bad?

Nothing to worry about, it'll sort itself out over the next few days.

Re: Noise margin change and speed loss

Hi all,
My broadband has been stable for 7 days now and im really happy with it. However I have just noticed our land line is dead, Theres no dial tone and we can't call the house. As we hardly use the landline I'm not sure if its been like this for 7 days since the engineer came or if theres a problem in my area at the moment. Any ideas?

If you go to help at top of page you can check service in your area.

Have you moved to Digital voice?

Would a line test show if my landline was disconnected at the cabinet?

Hi we had another engineer come out who found that we had a short circuit on our line. He went to the cabinet and sorted it out. The phone now works and the broadband has been very stable at 62mbps 🙂
