No, the button on the back doesn't do the same thing, that's why I specifically said to do it that way.
Ports 80 and 443 should not be open unless you have opened them and have a web server running.
If I get a chance over the next couple of days I'll fix up my HH6 and have a play around.
I'm not a gamer which is why I've kept out of this conversation but I do have an SH2 and I do use port fowarding and https://www.canyouseeme.org/ tells me that it can see the server.
Just to prove that your port forwarding isn't being blocked (as you first questioned), you could try forwarding another HTTP port, e.g. 8080 and see if you can see that open.
Thanks @Anonymous for your help, I will try forwarding port 8080 shortly and then check through canyouseeme if it is open or not. When you are doing the check i'm guessing you are using a device outside the lan?
I also need to check if I do factory reset using the button at the back of the SH2 instead of through the SH2 UI and start from scratch.
I understand I must seem rude at times but this is obviously annoying for me and something that should be straight forward.
Thanks again
It is straightforward, which is why we are as perplexed that it doesn't work.

Thanks again
As far as I'm aware, the UI restart is just a reboot equivalent to cycling the power whereas the physical button does a full factory reset and clears everything out.
😄
Never knew about that one, I was thinking of this one.
You're never to old to learn 😀
