Hope you're right. Thanks 🙂 As you can imagine I'm pretty paranoid about any activity on the connection/line now.
Our premises has suffered noisy lines for years and Openreach were unable to resolve these. Last year I changed to FTTP for reliability as much as speed reasons. No problems since.
Yes I now pay over double per month but instead of 22mb I get a 500mb reliable connection so I am happy.
"Just get fibre!" Isn't an option, my village doesn't have it.
Thanks for sharing though, I suppose!
Things change. I registered interest in FTTP before it was available in my village via my local enterprise partnership. A year later and it was available. I hope things improve for you.
Thank you, me too.
Unfortunately, you're right. Things changed for the worse, at random it seems.
I would HOPE that waiting for fibre and paying more aren't my only options for having stable net again. 🙂
Presently the cost of FTTP at the same speeds as FTTC are the same. You would only pay more if you went for a higher speed tier than you are already on.
Ah, phew. Bless ya. That last person's message almost drained my last ounce of hope.
Don't have fibre option & can't afford to pay more. Salt in the wound 😞
