Hi Community,
I have a the triple pack BT Whole Home Wi-Fi Dual Band AC2533 extender disc set up at present.
If I want to add more discs, do they have to be the same model i.e. AC2533?

Hi, @ehtiahmed thanks for posting, yes if you're adding more discs they need to be the same model as the different models are not compatible.

Thanks for letting me know Neil. I'm assuming this model is still available?
thanks.
one last qs pls. on sites other than BT these discs are listed as AC2600 is that correct.
the link you sent has the following info:
Hi @ehtiahmed
AC2600 seems to be the technology, so it's really a case of whether it's compatible with AC2533.
I've tried to find the answer but I don't have a definite answer, best advice I can offer would be to give the product helpdesk a call on 0808 100 6116. Having tried calling them there now, I can advise they are open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Might be worthwhile ensuring compatibility before making the purchase, hope this helps.
Cheers
Stuart
Thank you Stuart!
I'll give them a call tomorrow.
Hi Stuart
I wonder if you can shed some light on the following pls:
I have bought 2 additional discs to connect to the same network I am using the other 3 on. I have a Virgin Hub 5 router.
However the 2 new discs are not connecting. I have managed to sync them to the router using the Ethernet cable provided, each one separately, but the Error code: Setup-042 keeps coming up on the app.
I have even done a factory reset at the back of each disc as suggested in one of the posts on the forum.
Help!!!
please!!!!
