Bt whole home discs.

I’ve just purchased the whole home Wi-Fi kit and I have an another disc that came with my router. Should I set the whole home Wi-Fi discs app the through the whole home app or just add the 3 discs to my network through the my BT app?

If I do do it  through the whole home i will have two Wi-Fi connections (my original router and the whole home Wi-Fi)

Re: Bt whole home discs.

The disc you received with your router is most likely a black one, also known as a Complete WiFi Disc, the two are not compatible

@Pedrostar88

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

Use the Whole Home app.

Re: Bt whole home discs.

Am I better using the whole home Wi-Fi or buying extra complete Wi-Fi discs?

@Pedrostar88

I assume you are a BT Broadband customer?

The Black Complete Wi-Fi Discs are on loan, and you can request two extra ones for free, as part of the BT Complete Wi-Fi promise. Its not worth purchasing them yourself, just in case you decide to use another provider in the future.

You cannot mix those with the Whole Home Discs.
